Omnissa announced on November 4 that its Sovereign Solution is expanding to six additional European and Asian markets, bringing availability to eight markets. Certified local entities deploy and operate the managed workspace service, provide in-market support and contract with customers locally.

Local operations are part of the offering

The model covers four layers of jurisdictional control. Customer data, service operations, technical support and the customer contract are kept within the jurisdiction. That structure makes the local operating partner a substantive part of delivery and accountability. Omnissa identifies GEMA International Hosting among its existing certified partners.

Endpoint control extends the scope

The company connects the expansion to enterprise AI agents operating through employee devices and virtual workspaces. It also describes new Windows Server OS support. These controls can help organisations define the environment an agent can reach, although the announcement supplies no comparative test of agent containment or incident prevention.

Further expansion remains planned

Seven further markets are planned later in 2026. Buyers can assess the current service through the named local provider, operational responsibilities and applicable deployment model. The commercial opportunity depends on turning the jurisdictional design into reliable service delivery as coverage expands.
